Fund Raising

wpe18.jpg (1438 bytes)

The more Salt Spring Islanders use $$’s, the more funds for our Community will be raised.

First, interest will accumulate on the "Reserve Fund."

Secondly, some monies are generated through the sales of collector sets and individual specimens.

Accumulated funds are available for community proposals on the basis of no-interest loans.

This philosophy of no "usury" loans is fundamental to the concept of true community currency.
